In these challenging times of lockdown why don’t you come and face a challenge that is much more fun.

Learn to control your bot over the Internet, upgrade the sensors and even build additions at home.

Join in by yourself or employ a team of friends.

All you need is a computer capable of running Microsoft Remote Desktop (all Windows computers and most Macs).

Join a Zoom conference to see the bots while you control them and even get a first person view from the bots themselves.

The session is also streamed via YouTube if you just want to watch.

Full support given.

Suitable for ages 8 and over

Children under 8 are welcome but MUST be supervised by an adult.

Participants will first acclimatize by controlling their bots via remote control before moving on to more advanced programming. There will be the chance to explore different sensors and even to build additions to your bot at home.

And of course there will be a chance to participate in some battles with LEGO Robot Wars.

LEGO Robot Challenge is a fun and interactive way to start learning coding concepts and a practical means to reinforce an understanding of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths.
